RIA WorkSpace was founded in 2007 by our President, David Kakish. RIA WorkSpace is a division of InhouseCIO with headquarters in Chicago, IL servicing RIA clients nationwide.

What does RIA WorkSpace do?

We are a team of professionals focused on providing security, cloud and managed technology platform for the RIA industry. Our passion is to provide personalized “Big Business” IT services to small and mid-sized RIA firms that are largely ignored and underserved. We redefine IT services for RIA firms by utilizing “Fortune 500” strategy, cloud platform and IT management tools to proactively manage and support your IT infrastructure. Our managed security services, cloud platform and flat-rate IT services include unlimited technical support, proactive monitoring, and disaster recovery. No matter the size of your RIA firm, we provide a complete solution for securing, supporting and managing the IT infrastructure and operations.

What is the company’s vision?

The world of Information Technology has undergone tremendous transformation, especially within the financial services sector. The adoption of cloud computing, the ubiquity of mobile devices and the evolution of threats are more serious today then they have ever been before. The traditional technology used by some providers does not address many of the challenges, opportunities and threats that exist today. RIA WorkSpace enables RIAs to embrace innovation while delivering superior customer service.

Why do you do it?

Fundamentally, small and mid-sized RIA firms have similar IT challenges as large enterprises, but with limited resources. With the increasing complexity of IT, RIA firms are actively seeking partners to help them keep their IT operations running smoothly and securely. Many other IT firms either focus exclusively on large enterprises or provide generic IT services without a clear focus on the RIA industry. RIA WorkSpace thrives and excels in helping small and mid-size RIA firms manage and secure their IT operations. We know that these RIA firms are an extremely important part of the economy and provide very important services to their own clients.

How many employees does RIA WorkSpace have?

RIA WorkSpace has over 15 employees. We never set out to be the biggest. Instead we set out to be the best. We strive to be a great small company that provides incredible value for our clients.
